Where the holidays truly begin
Arriving at a campsite is always a special moment. After hours of travel, you leave the car behind, you breathe differently, and that first space you find sets the tone for everything that comes after.
The new reception at Camping Stel goes beyond being a functional space. It is the gateway to the Mediterranean.
The intervention completely transforms the old reception, opening it much more to the outside. The original arcaded porch has been eliminated and the large windows have been enlarged so that natural light enters the back of the space and reinforces this constant connection with the environment.
The sand tones, oak wood and warm textures create a calm, bright and friendly atmosphere. A spacious and orderly space where everything accompanies the natural movement of people: arriving, waiting, getting information, getting oriented or simply relaxing after the journey.
The large central counter organizes the entire customer service experience with different reception points, one of which is adapted for people with reduced mobility. It also integrates waiting areas, information, a book corner and security lockers, as well as a complete reorganization of the back office and internal work areas.
At the back of the reception, the ceramic cladding with a trencadís effect and terracotta tones provides texture, depth and a very Mediterranean presence.
On the ceiling, sound-absorbing waves of recycled PET run through the space as a subtle reference to the sea. They provide acoustic comfort and, at the same time, give personality to the reception without the need for great fuss.
Technology is also present, but discreetly integrated: digital management systems and a large LED welcome screen coexist with warm materials and indirect lighting, designed so that the space works equally well during the day and at night.
Outside, the new facades, planters and the incorporation of natural stone reinforce the continuity with the rest of the resort and the surrounding landscape.
A space that connects, almost without realizing it, with the calm rhythm of the Mediterranean.
