Of furniture, of hastily made decisions, of light that has never quite let in. This apartment was one of them.<\/p>\n\n<p>The client was also clear about it. He wanted a place that would function the same on a weekend in August as it would for the entire month of January. And that changes everything. Because a space that is truly lived in, for long periods of time, cannot afford to be just beautiful. It has to be comfortable, practical and easy to live in every day.<\/p>\n\n<p>The challenge was to transform it without touching almost anything. No construction, no demolition. From here, the project is based on simplicity: clarifying, lightening and giving continuity to the entire space.<\/p>\n\n<p>The new oak parquet, the off-white walls and the linen fabrics create a neutral and warm base. Three elements that allow the Mediterranean light to not only come in, but to stay.<\/p>\n\n<p>The natural fibers in the lamps, chairs and decoration naturally reinforce this Mediterranean air. The furniture, from Kave Home, integrates without becoming the protagonist.
